Fashion Show Studio Project
The Golden Fashion Design Showcase is a one-of-a-kind fashion show held at ACC's Fashion Department each year. This year the Design Studio 2 class was tasked with designing the marketing materials for the show. The students worked together to create the wordmark, design the show and produce the final product. I was responsible for the initial design, and then it was refined from there.
The showcase was a great success, with the audience enjoying the unique golden theme of the show. We had a great turn out and the show featured an impressive array of talent from the ACC Fashion Department!
Mood Board
My thought process for this project was to focus more on the pre-production part of fashion, while also incorporating elements that the head of the fashion department found to be special.
Initial Design Elements
These designs show my earliest design element ideas. As you can see I wanted to incorporate fashion sketches, and a needle and thread. I was in charge of initial ticket design and made the decision to turn the "l" in the word "Golden" into a needle.
Experimentation
The client loved the idea of making"Golden" using a needle and thread, as well as the idea of having some sort of fashion sketch. So that is the direction the team moved forward with.
Final Design
Here you can see how the final designs turned out.
